ON THE SUBJECT OF SAFETY:
We have years of experience interacting with wildlife in the outdoors and take the issue of safety very seriously. For us, it's always priority number one. Some of the activities documented on this site are inherently and sometimes extremely dangerous and we do not encourage just anyone to attempt to duplicate them. Our hope is that you find these adventures interesting, informative, exciting or at least, entertaining and ask that you, “Always be adequately prepared and exercise extreme caution when handling any wild animal or when recreating in the out of doors."

ON THE SUBJECT OF NATURAL RESOURCES:
There is no shortage of debate and controversy over fisheries and wildlife management or the ethical treatment of animals. Therefore, we’ll take this opportunity to offer a simple statement regarding these issues for those who may care -- one way or the other. “There are laws on the books for recreational and commercial fisheries, as well as for hunting and trapping activities. We responsibly abide by these laws while reserving our opinions here regarding some management policies and we respect the legal decisions of anglers, hunters and trappers to keep or release their quarry. Most of the animals we interact with are captured and released after being tagged and documented for research purposes. Whenever a decision is made to harvest an animal, it is respectfully put to the highest and best use for research and / or food purposes.
