'Tag Team Shark Action'

Dedicated shark fisherman and pier angling specialist, Jeff Knox was up to his usual early morning antics on the Venice pier after a long Thanksgiving weekend. After all, the best way to chase away the Monday morning blues is with some shark fishing, right? That's what we thought so Dave Kops decided to get out there and see how Jeff was doing before heading back to Miami and arrived just in time to double team a healthy fish that obviously didn't get enough to eat over the holiday.

They've got some more pics on the way and will provide additional details, but for now, have a look at some late fall shark action from southwest Florida. From the sounds of it, these Club members enjoyed themselves for the better part of an hour and put on one hell of a show for the tourists and staff at 'Sharky's Restaurant' on the Pier. Way to get it done, guys.

This capture was welcome news after the year we've had here in this part of the country. And it was enough to get us planning a land-based shark fishing trip that same weekend where the action continued with another nice fish. Click here for that story and stay tuned to FishingGoneWild.com because it appears we're in for a shark filled winter season. Congratulations, once again, to Jeff & Dave!
